Companies come to us in one of two situations: a project is already running and there are not enough hands, or they need a skill that is not worth a full-time hire. Either way the real question is the same: how do you know the hours turned into something? We answer that with timesheets and repository access, not with a promise.
When bringing in developers beats recruiting
Recruiting a senior developer takes months and the project will not wait. Bringing someone in makes sense when you have work for the next few months but not for years; when a specific skill is needed for one part of the project only; or when you want to absorb a spike without letting people go afterwards. How we work together
- Brief and profiles You tell us what needs doing and at what pace. We send profiles of the people who are available.
- Interview with the developer Before anything is agreed you talk directly to the person who would do the work. Nobody is assigned without your consent.
- Joining the team The developer gets access, goes through onboarding and joins your standups like any other member of the team.
- Work and timesheets You assign tasks from your own backlog. Hours logged are visible as they happen, not only at the end of the month.
- Adjusting capacity At the end of each month we review what got done and agree the scope for the next period.

We want to move part of our backlog to a team in Prague. How does that start?
You describe what needs doing and at what pace; we come back with profiles of people who are available. You interview them yourself before anything is agreed. From there the developers join your backlog and your standups rather than running a separate project on the side.
What hours do you keep, and what language does the team work in?
We work on Central European Time, which overlaps the whole European working day and reaches the North American morning in our afternoon. English is the working language for standups, tickets and documentation. Most of the work runs asynchronously; the overlap matters for the calls that need everyone.
How are the contract, confidentiality and intellectual property handled for a client outside the Czech Republic?
A framework agreement and a non-disclosure agreement, with everything produced belonging to you. We are an EU company, so GDPR applies to us directly. Accounts stay yours: you create them in your own tools, keep permissions narrow and can revoke them at any time.
How is this different from IT support?
This service puts developers into your team to write your software. IT support is a separate service: computers, networks, servers and a user helpdesk. If a laptop is down or someone cannot get into their mailbox, you need IT support, not a developer.
When is hiring your own person the better call?
When the work is permanent and the main value is knowing your product inside out. A developer we provide will eventually move on, and part of the context goes with them. This model fits a bounded part of the system better than the core of your product.
Who manages the developers day to day, and how do we see that the work is happening?
With a single developer your team usually assigns the work while we watch availability and timesheets. With a whole team we supply a project manager who splits the work and reports back. Either way developers commit to your repository, log time against tasks and attend standups.
What if a developer does not fit the team?
Tell us immediately. We try to work out whether it is about skill or about working style, because the second one can often be adjusted. If not, we offer someone else. That is also why you talk to the developer before anything is signed.
